Once prepared, you must register with Pearson Vue to take your state insurance exam. Exam reservations can be made online at the Pearson Vue website or over the phone at (800) 274-0488.

Once you have passed your state insurance exam, you can apply for your insurance agent license through the Vertafore website. Please keep in mind that you will only be able to electronically apply for your license once you have passed your state insurance exam and the testing vendor has reported your successful completion to the Department of Insurance. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email. Be sure to keep this email, as it contains important information and a link to your Fingerprint Authorization Form, which is required for the next step.

After submitting your license application through Sircon, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a link to download your Fingerprint Authorization Form. Nevada requires fingerprinting to conduct an FBI background check, which reviews your full criminal history across all states.
You must complete the following steps:

After completing your fingerprinting appointment, you must upload the required documents to finalize your background check review.
Upload these documents to your previously completed license application.
