Individuals looking to prepare for their Texas life insurance exam or the combination life & health insurance exam can now do so with online training classes by National Online Insurance School.  As a Texas insurance school, our online pre-licensing training classes prepare individuals to pass their insurance license exam by providing comprehensive course text covering pertinent insurance concepts, definitions, and state insurance regulation, course videos that review more difficult insurance concepts, and exam simulators to practice with before taking the state-administered insurance exam.

Texas insurance license state insurance testing covers many topics including:

  • Comprehensive understand of life, annuity, health, accident, and Medicare insurance
  • Types of insurance policies,  policy provisions, riders, and an understanding of policy underwriting
  • Texas-specific laws and regulations regarding agent licensure
  • Producer licensing maintenance and ethical standards, as well as other Texas-specific requirements

Texas follows two exam designation types:

  • Series 14-78 Life insurance exam: 2 hours to complete 100 scored questions
  • Series 14-54 Life, Accident & Health exam: 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete 150 scored questions

*Texas does not offer an Accident & Health only exam.  If this designation is desired, it must be attained along with a Life insurance license.  A life insurance license can be attained as a single line license.
