Insurance Course FAQs

You bet! Our insurance courses are certified by the Department of Insurance in every state that we provide pre-license training. By passing our online insurance class, you will have satisfied the pre-license requirements for your respective state.  We offer online pre-license courses for both Life and Health insurance licenses, as well as the Life & Health insurance license.

In order to receive credit from our insurance school you must successfully pass the final exam found at the end of this insurance course with a score of 70% or better. Upon your passing, we submit this information to the Department of Insurance for their records.

The only system requirement needed to complete this course is a monitor resolution equal to or greater than 1024 X 768. National Online Insurance School is cross-browser tested, and works great with Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and Internet Explorer 7 or greater.

Usually, to complete all lessons and pass the final exam it should take no more than a few days to a week. However, if you are able to grasp the material at a quicker pace than average, it may take you less time.

Your Social Security Number is needed and solely used to register you with the Department of Insurance upon your successful completion of our insurance course.

Absolutely! With National Online Insurance School you are allowed to go at your pace, and take the time you need to feel confident in understanding the course material. In fact, you have 90 days from the date of your registration to study the insurance course lessons, test your knowledge with our practice quizzes and pass your final exam. If for any reason to do not successfully complete the final exam on your first attempt, you are eligible to take it as many times as you need, within the above mentioned 90 days, until you are able to pass.

Not a problem; it happens to the best of us! To have your username emailed to you, simply click here. Because we encrypt your password for your protection, we do not have the ability to email it to you. Instead, we email you a temporary password that allows you to log into the Student Center. Once signed in, you can then change your password to whatever you desire.

If you have enrolled in our Premier Insurance Course, the study manual should arrive at the address you provided during registration within just a few days.

Since the first few lessons cover more general insurance information, you can begin the course immediately after registration.
